Itinerary
Coach Pickup – Cairns
Pick up starts at 6.00am from Lake and Abbott Streets. Guests are transferred to the Reef Fleet Terminal before departure.
Coach Transfer to Mission Beach
The coach leaves at 6.30am, heading south along a scenic coastal route to Mission Beach.
Boarding at Clump Point Marine Facility
At 8.30am, enjoy priority boarding with muffins, fruit salad and a drink. General boarding follows.
Ferry to Dunk Island
Depart at 9.00am and arrive at Dunk Island Jetty at 9.30am.
Free Time or Optional Activities
Guests may take an optional guided walk or purchase a two-course picnic lunch. Explore the island trails, swim, snorkel or relax on the beach.
Return Ferry and Coach Transfer
Board the ferry at 4.00pm. Optional cocktails available before departure at 4.30pm. Arrive back at Clump Point at 4.50pm for the return coach.
Arrival Back in Cairns
Coach returns to the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal or Cairns Central at 7.00pm.

The menu changes daily, featuring fresh specials based on local produce. Expect a tasty mix of Mexican-inspired mains like tacos, burritos, and Mexican pizzas, plus lighter options such as salad bowls and fresh fish burgers. Sides include nachos, guacamole, and chilli garlic prawns, with a selection of ice creams and sorbets for dessert. Kids are covered too, with junior-friendly meals.
Drinks range from tropical cocktails and mocktails to wine, beer, smoothies, and barista-made coffee.

Very friendly crew on the boat ride.
We were given a great lunch pack to take with us which we at towards the end of our 13km hike around the island. Awesome hike and the skipper of the boat was very informational and friendly as was his first mate.
Definitely a good day and finished with a swim in the ocean to call off before heading back.

We scored a great day with only 7 on board, a whole day with the island pretty much to ourselves to explore and the ride over was great, the crew were very informative and welcoming, a well stocked bar if needed and an all round great experience. Will definitely go again
